Satyam Fashion Institute is affiliated to SNDT Women's University, Mumbai, a Government University, also the first university for women in India & South East Asia.
The university is committed to the cause of women's empowerment through access to higher education. A gamut of relevant courses in formal and informal streams provides a wide range of professional and vocational training for women to cater ever changing socio - economic needs. They are also inculcated, with human values, social responsibility and quality to achieve excellence in every activity.
In 1951 the university acquired statutory recognition from the Government of Maharashtra. This recognition came along with the rare privilege of jurisdiction across the country. The University for the first time has extended its division in the Northern part of India in Delhi NCR by giving affiliation to SATYAM FASHION INSTITUTE, NOIDA for the degree of B.Design (4 years) with specialization in Fashion Design, Lifestyle Accessory Design, Textile Design, Fashion Communication and M.Design (2 years) Interdisciplinary and Post Graduation Diploma (2 years) in Fashion Design. SNDT - SFI Affiliation.
