To meet educational expenses such as tuition fees, hostel fees, cost of books, exam fees, and airfare (for studies abroad) for pursuing any Graduation / Post-Graduation / Diploma course in an Institution recognized by the State / Central Government / University.
To apply in career-oriented professional or technical courses at universities in abroad.
To finance individuals who undertake training programme to acquire skills needed to join as pilots.
Eligible Candidates
Should have secured admission to higher education course in recognized institutions
in India through Entrance Test / Merit Based Selection process after completion of
HSC (10 plus 2 or equivalent).
In the states where there is no common entrance test (CET) the applicant must
secure 60% for others and 55% for SC / ST students in the qualifying examination as
Cut-off marks.
In case of Common Entrance Test (CET) is not conducted for postgraduate or
research admissions, the selection should depend on the candidate's employment
profile and the reputation of the institution.
Scholarship Criteria :-
All students who seek to get a scholarship under the "Scholarship Policy of the institute from the Academic Year 2022-23" and fulfill the requisite qualitative requirements may note the following:
Students are advised to clear all dues from the Account Office of our Institute and obtain all prescribed scholarship forms. The Scholarship Committee/HOD/Vice Principal and Principal will make the decision and declare the list of eligible students for the following scholarships:
Merit Scholarship—for those candidates having 85% and above in the qualifying exam (applicable only for the first year of the course).
Sister Concession—applied if two real sisters are studying; then either of the two would get the concession.
Satyam Staff—for the daughter/real sister of the staff of Satyam Group of Institutions.
Doctors in Government hospitals/Para-medical staff of Government hospitals' ward.
In addition to the above, in the current situation of COVID-19, the college has introduced a new scholarship policy to encourage its students facing financial difficulties. Therefore, students who have consistently achieved more than 85% marks in the last two semester examinations may also avail a 10% scholarship for the immediate next year only. The following criteria should be fulfilled by the eligible students for this scholarship:
Students having good academic performance and achieving more than 85% marks consistently in the last two semester examinations.
Students must have good conduct.
Students having more than 80% attendance and having attended at least 80% of physical classes consistently in the last two semesters.
Applications, through the course coordinator of the respective batch, will be forwarded to the HOD/Vice Principal & Principal of the respective college. Approved cases are required to fill up the scholarship form with the submission of relevant documents.
All eligible students are advised to fill their scholarship application by August 16th of every year. No applications will be considered after this date under any circumstances.
**Special seats for physically challenged candidates (only with locomotor disability) or differently abled - Limited to a maximum of 5 seats in the given academic year
