Financial Assistance


Purpose of the loan

  • To meet educational expenses such as tuition fees, hostel fees, cost of books, examination fees, and other academic-related expenses for pursuing Graduation, Post-Graduation, or Diploma courses at institutions recognized by the State Government, Central Government, or Universities.
  • To support students applying for career-oriented professional or technical courses at universities abroad.
  • To provide financial assistance for specialised training and skill-development programmes that help students build successful careers in the design industry.

Eligible Candidates

  • Should have secured admission to higher education course in recognized institutions in India through Entrance Test / Merit Based Selection process after completion of HSC (10 plus 2 or equivalent).
  • In the states where there is no common entrance test (CET) the applicant must secure 60% for others and 55% for SC / ST students in the qualifying examination as Cut-off marks.
  • In case of Common Entrance Test (CET) is not conducted for postgraduate or research admissions, the selection should depend on the candidate's employment profile and the reputation of the institution.


Scholarship Criteria :-

All students seeking to avail themselves of a scholarship under the “Scholarship Policy of the Institute from the Academic Year 2022–23” and fulfilling the requisite eligibility criteria are advised to note the following:

  • Students are advised to clear all dues at the Accounts Office of the Institute and obtain all prescribed scholarship forms. The Scholarship Committee and the Principal will decide and declare the list of students eligible for the following scholarships:
    • Merit Scholarship – For candidates securing 85% or above in the qualifying examination (applicable only in the first year of the course).
    • Sister Concession – Applicable if two real sisters are studying in the Institute; either one of them may avail the concession.
    • Satyam Staff Scholarship – For the daughter or real sister of the staff members of Satyam Group of Institutions.
    • Defence/Army/Paramilitary/Indian Navy/Police Personnel Ward Scholarship – For wards of Defence, Army, Paramilitary, Indian Navy, or Police personnel.
    • In addition to the above, considering the financial difficulties faced by students during the COVID-19 situation, the college has introduced a special scholarship policy. Under this policy, students who have consistently secured more than 85% marks in the last two semester examinations may avail themselves of a 10% scholarship for the immediate next academic year only.
    • The following criteria must be fulfilled by eligible students for this scholarship:
      • Students must have consistently secured more than 85% marks in the last two semester examinations.
      • Students must maintain good conduct.
      • Students must have more than 80% attendance and must have attended at least 80% of physical classes consistently during the last two semesters.
  • Applications, duly recommended through the Course Coordinator of the respective batch, shall be forwarded to the Principal of the respective college. Approved candidates will be required to fill out the scholarship form and submit the relevant supporting documents.
  • All eligible students are advised to submit their scholarship applications by 16th August of every year. No applications will be entertained after this date under any circumstances.
